Fragrance du Bois review/reseña - pt.1
Fragrance du Bois es una de las marcas que más ganas tenía de probar porque se caracteriza por el uso de oud natural. Normalmente el oud en las fragancias suele ser sintético debido a los escasos recursos en el mundo y su elevado precio. No todas las fragancias de la marca tienen oud pero si es la nota por la que destacan.
Debido a su alto precio, no es común encontrar muestras por lo que he tenido que esperar mucho hasta encontrar una tienda online en la que las vendían. Una vez intenté comprarlas en la página oficial, pero los gastos de envío eran 50 euros, así que desistí.
Parisian Oud
Un perfume de oud adaptado al estilo parisino. Cuando me la pongo tengo la sensación de que eleva mi estatus social.
La composición contiene muchísimas notas, algunas como oud-rosa-cuero-ambar, podemos encontrarla en otros perfumes. Sin embargo tiene también sorpresas. Las notas de salida son pimienta rosa, cardamomo; pomelo y almendras; las notas de corazón son oud, rosa, geranio, jazmín, madera y cuero; las notas de fondo, incienso, sándalo, musgo de roble, almizcle, ámbar, ládano y pachulí.
Problema: el precio. Es sumamente caro, 100 ml a 677 Euros. Está claro que solo un selecto grupo de gente puede permitirse algo así. Si hago el balance entre orginalidad y precio, en mi caso no es un perfume que me pueda permitir. Me alegra haber comprado una muestra, la usaré, pero no comparé el producto entero. Tengo otros perfumes con oud que pueden ocupar el lugar de este.
Siberian Rose
Esta es una de mis fragrancias favoritas de la marca. Pese al nombre, no considero que sea una fragancia que huela a rosas, es más un floral blanco afrutado, en mi opinión. No creo que la rosa sea una nota que destaque mucho, almenos yo no la noto.
Las notas de salida son canela, enebro de Virginia, pera; las notas de corazón, ylang-ylang, rosa blanca, nardos y cuero; las notas de fondo, ámbar, pachulí y musgo.
Me gusta muchísimo esta fragancia, tiene un punto vintage que no encontramos en las fragancias de hoy en día. La duración es bastante larga, me la he puesto a las 9h y a las 16:30h aún la siento. En mi opinión, es una fragancia femenina y para épocas frías, no la recomiendo para el verano.
Pachouli Argent
Esta no es la típica fragancia de pachulí, lo combina con bergamota, rosa, cilantro, madera, jazmín y almzcle. Me gusta mucho la salida de bergamota que da paso a las notas florales, rosa, jazmín y luego el coriander. Esta parte me recuerda a algo medicial, hasta el olor de un serum de belleza. Cuando pasa un rato, salen las notas de base, almizcle, incienso, notas amaderadas y el pachulí. Si bien al principio tiene una salida muy fresca, tiene un secado demasiado verde para mí, no es desagradable, pero no es mi estilo. Lo bueno que tiene es que es no creo que sea una fragancia que polarice, puede ser buena para cualquier ocasión.
Oud Jaune Intense
Pocas veces al oler un perfume for primera veiz he dicho "uau", con este lo hice. Es una fragancia afrutada, con un oud muy suave, y floral. Nos traslada a un paraíso tropical pero tiene un toque vintage que hace que sea muy ponible en invierno. Es un perfume con una salida muy fuerte, no es difícil, pero puede llegar a marear un poco en espacios cerrados. Me encanta pero no me lo puedo permitir, una tragédia. Es el problema de comprar muestras de perfumes tan caros, nunca aprenderé la lección.

An oud perfume adapted to the Parisian style. When I put it on I have the feeling that it elevates my social status.
The composition contains many notes, some like oud-rose-leather-amber, we can find it in other perfumes. However, it also has surprises. The top notes are pink pepper, cardamom; grapefruit and almonds; the heart notes are oud, rose, geranium, jasmine, wood and leather; the base notes of incense, sandalwood, oak moss, musk, amber, labdanum and patchouli.
Problem: the price. It is extremely expensive, 100 ml at 677 Euros. It is clear that only a select group of people can afford such a thing. If I make the ratio between originality and price, in my case it is not a perfume that I can afford. Glad I bought a sample, I will use it, but I will not buy the entire product. I have other perfumes with oud that can take the place of this one.

This is one of my favorite fragrances of the brand. Despite the name, I do not consider it a roses fragrance, it is more of a fruity white floral, in my opinion. I don't think rose is a note that stands out much, at least I don't notice it.
The top notes are cinnamon, Virginia juniper, pear; the heart notes, ylang-ylang, white rose, tuberose and leather; the base notes, amber, patchouli and moss.
I really like this fragrance, it has a vintage touch that it is not so common anymore. The performance is quite long, I applied it at 9 a.m. and at 4:30 p.m. I still felt it. In my opinion, it is a feminine fragrance and for cold seasons, I do not recommend it for summer.

This is not your typical patchouli fragrance, it combines it with bergamot, rose, coriander, wood, jasmine and musk. I really like the bergamot top that gives way to floral notes, rose, jasmine and then the coriander. This part, reminds me of something medicinal, even the smell of a skincare serum. Ater a while, the base notes come out, musk, incense, woody notes and patchouli. While it has a very fresh start at first, it has too green a drying for me, not unpleasant, but not my style. The good thing about it is that I don't think it's a polarizing fragrance, it can be good for any occasion.

Few times when smelling a perfume for the first time I have said "wow", with this I did. It is a fruity fragrance, with a very soft oud, and floral. It takes us to a tropical paradise but has a vintage touch that makes it very wearable in winter. It is a perfume with a very strong output, it is not difficult, but it can get a bit dizzy in closed spaces. I really love it but I cannot afford it, what a tragedy. That is the problem of buying samples of expensive perfumes, I never learn this lesson.
