Zarkoperfume - Ménage à trois Reseña / Review

Conocí este perfume por pura casualidad. Me compré un gadget facial en una tienda online y como obsequio me regalaron varias muestras, incluída una de 10 ml de esta fragancia.

Fue lanzada al mercado en 2016 y el perfumista es Zarko Ahlmann Pavlov, que da nombre a la marca. Es una marca de Dinamarca que pretende recrear los aromas  y el estilo de vida de Escandinavia en sus perfumes. Según he leido, Pavlov el único perfumista de Dinamarca. Todas sus composiciones son muy originales y se caracterizan por ser perfumes moleculares, lo que los hace veganos.

La primera impresión que tuve no la sabría explicar muy bien. No tenía claro si me gustaba o me disgustaba. Es un perfume especial, en el buen sentido. No es una fragancia que haya olido antes. Totalmente unisex. Tiene notas de sandía (salida), notas acuáticas (corazón) y almizcle (base).

En mi piel noto mucho la sandía y el almizcle pero al olerlo directamente de la botella, noto esas notas acuáticas que no se cómo describir. Pero no huele a mar, por ejemplo.

El principal problema que tengo es con el almizcle, se camufla muy bien con mi olor corporal, por lo que al cabo de 10 minutos casi ya no huelo el perfume. Me pregunto si le pasará lo mismo a otras personas.

Un aspecto que no me encaja mucho con el aroma es el nombre "Ménage à trois". Todxs sabemos lo que significa... En mi opinión para que encajara con el nombre, tendría que ser mucho más oscura, con incienso, ambar, madera, rosa...Pero bueno, como se inspira en el estilo de vida en escandinavo, quizá son diferencias culturales.

I was introduced to this perfume by chance. I bought a facial gadget in an online store and as a gift they gave me several samples, including a 10 ml sample of this fragrance.

It was launched in 2016 and the perfumer is Zarko Ahlmann Pavlov, who gives the brand its name. It is a brand from Denmark that aims to recreate the aromas and lifestyle of Scandinavia in its perfumes. As I have read, Pavlov is the only perfumer in Denmark. All their compositions are very original and characterized by being molecular perfumes, which makes them vegan.

The first impression I had of this scent, I would not know how to explain very well. It was not clear if I liked or disliked it. It is a special perfume, in a good way. It is not a fragrance that you have smelled before. Fully unisex. It has notes of watermelon (top notes), watery notes (heart notes) and musk (base notes).
On my skin I notice a lot of watermelon and musk but when I smell it directly from the bottle, I notice those watery notes that I don't know how to describe. But it doesn't smell like the sea, for example.

The main problem I have is with the musk, it camouflages very well with my body odor, so after 10 minutes I can hardly smell the perfume. I wonder if the same thing will happen to other people.

One aspect that I think it does not fit much with the aroma is the name "Ménage à trois". We all know what it means ... In my opinion, to make it fit the name, it would have to be much darker, with incense, amber, wood, pink ... But hey, as it is inspired by the Scandinavian lifestyle, perhaps they are cultural differences.
