Sana Jardin - Tiger by her side - Reseña/review

Tiger by her side es una fragancia oriental floral lanzada en 2017 y el perfumista es Carlos Benaim. Este perfum,e merece ser la primera reseña en el blog, porque pasó de no gustarme nada de nada, a encantarme.

La primera vez que la olí, estaba en la oficina, me pareció que olía a mujer mayor y hasta un poco a rancio (¡!). Hoy puedo decir que mi yo del pasado no pudo estar más equivocado, porque ahora me apasiona.

Esta fragancia huele mucho a incienso, una mezcla de incienso, canela y ámbar. Está inspirada en las altas sacerdotisas del antiguo Egipto y contiene notas de rosa marroquí, pachulí de Indonesia e incienso de Somalia. Creo que el concepto de “alta sacerdotisa” y la fragancia están muy bien alineados. Huele a mujer poderosa, segura de sí misma, misteriosa y relajada. Pese a que me parece una fragancia más femenina que masculina, también la podría llevar un hombre perfectamente.

Quizá será por el incienso, que me hace pensar en una tarde de lluvia de invierno, cuando te quedas en casa y lees un libro.

Cada vez que la huelo me dan ganas de comer, pese a que no es una fragancia gourmand, su aroma me llega al estómago. De hecho, a veces cuando me la pongo y me entra hambre, me quedo sufriendo si no puedo comer al momento. Algo muy raro.

Creo que si te gustan perfumes como Ambre Nuit de Rania J este posiblemente te gustará, te animo a que lo descubras.

Tiger by her side is an oriental floral fragrance launched in 2017. The nose behind it is the perfumer is Carlos Benaim. This fragrance deserves to be the first review on the blog, because it went from not liking at all to loving it.

The first time I smelled it, it was in the office and it smelled outdated and even a bit stale (!). Today, I can say that my self from the past could not have been more wrong, because now I really love it.

It smells a lot like incense mixed with cinnamon and amber. Inspired by the high priestesses of the Ancient Egypt, it contains notes of Moroccan rose, patchouli from Indonesia, and incense from Somalia.
I think the concept of "high priestess" and the fragrance are very well aligned. To me, it smells like a powerful, self-confident and mysterious. Although to me this is more feminine than masculine, a man could also wear it.

It must be the incense that makes me think of a winter rainy afternoon, when you stay home and read a book.

I also have a problem with this fragrance. Every time I smell it, it makes me want to eat, even though it is not a Gourmand fragrance, its aroma reaches my stomach. In fact, sometimes when I get hungry and hungry, I suffer if I can't get to the moment. Something very strange.

I think if you like perfumes like Ambre Nuit by Rania J you will probably like it, I encourage you to discover it.
